Installation
Koyorad is committed to manufacturing radiators with the best in quality; meeting or exceeding OE standards. Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. highly recommends leaving all installations for a professional ASE Certified mechanic. Koyorad All Aluminum Racing radiators may require slight trimming of the inlet and outlet coolant hoses to accommodate the increased thickness. Koyo All Aluminum radiators are application specific for an easy install and will bolt directly to your factory OEM fan shrouds/fans. Note: There are a small amount of vehicle specific applications that may require some modifcation or even fabrication to make fit correctly. This is sometimes contributed to slight changes in a car maker's production/parts and especially in conjunction with other aftermarket modifications.Once installed, extreme care must be taken to eliminate all air from the vehicle cooling system. Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. will not accept damaged products due to neglecting to completely remove air in the cooling system.
Recommended Antifreeze Coolant
High quality antifreeze and coolant protects your engine by lowering water’s freezing point and raising water’s boiling point. Antifreeze and coolant provides anti-corrosion properties for the metals in your radiator and cooling passages within your vehicles engine. It also provides proper lubrication for the engine water pump.
It is important that the proper coolant is used for your Koyo OE Aftermarket Replacement Radiator. We highly recommend the use of coolant grade listed in every vehicles owner’s manual.
When a new Koyorad All Aluminum Racing Radiator is installed, we require a complete cooling system flush and fill with new coolant mixed 50/50 with distilled, de-ionized or de-mineralized water. Neglecting a full cooling system flush or using the wrong coolant may result in corrosion, leaks, and premature wear and tear, not to mention other stresses on your engines cooling system.
Shipping Damage and Mis-Shipments
If shipping damage occurs, it is the customer's responsibility to handle claims through the carrier. If an incorrect item is received, it is the responsibility of the customer to immediately contact the Koyorad dealer where the item was purchased.
Koyorad All Aluminum Racing Radiator Limited Warranty Policy
Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. will warranty Koyorad All Aluminum Racing Radiators which were professionally installed and show signs of a manufacturer's defect immediately upon first installation and vehicle start-up. A manufacturer's defect and/or leaks will be apparent immediately upon first installation, cooling system fill, and vehicle start-up. All Koyorad products are triple pressure tested before leaving our factory. A thorough leak inspection post-installation by your mechanic is required. In any vehicle whether slightly or highly modified, uncontrollable variables exist and there are always possible causes for radiator failure under these conditions. Warranty inspections and testing procedures follow this preceding guideline and ultimately determine warranty approvals. Should a manufacturer's defect arise, the Koyorad dealer from where your item was purchased should be contacted immediately. As the manufacturer and not a retailer, unfortunately we are closed to the general public and do not accept warranties or claims directly from end users. Any, and all warranty claims must come from Koyorad dealers. Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. is not responsible for any shipping charges of warranty items. This warranty does not apply due to the following or if occurs from:
· Neglect of the cooling system
· Installing non OEM fans or fan shrouds
· Improper installation
· Modifications/alterations made to the product
· Contaminants found in the cooling system
· Steam expansion
· Signs of electrolysis and/or corrosion
· Use in competition
· Abuse, misuse, and/or improper maintenance
· Repairs made or attempted (Stop Leak type products or Welding)
· Normal wear and tear
· The product was subject to an auto accident or any physical impact
· Failure to thoroughly inspect the product for leaks directly following the installation
This warranty is limited to replacement, without charge, of the product/part found to be defective or, the option of Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. to refund the purchase price and does not extend claims for other loss or damage arising from the defect. In no event shall the liability of Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. under this warranty exceed the purchase price of the Koyorad product.
This warranty does not include the cost of removal or reinstallation of the product. No person or representative is authorized to extend any warranties on behalf of Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. (other than expressed herein) or assume for Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. any liability (other than expressed herein) in connection with the sale of any Koyorad product.
KOYORAD DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL KOYO COOLING SYSTEMS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIFIC OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM PURCHASER’S USE OF THE PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow one or more of the above specified exclusions or limitations. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc. LIMITED WARRANTY Claims Procedure for All Aluminum Performance Radiators
To make a claim under this warranty you must:
Take all steps to ensure that the problem is not caused by:
· Abuse
· Neglect
· Installation error
· Misapplication
· Modification
· Accident
First immediately contact the Authorized Koyorad Dealer from whom you purchased the product and notify them of the problem. Koyorad encourages taking clear, detailed digital photos of the problem. (Although this will not eliminate the need for a physical inspection, photos can significantly decrease the claims processing time.)
Prepare the following to submit to the Koyorad Authorized Dealer:
· A detailed description of the problem
· Clear digital photos of the problem
· Copy of your original invoice
· A list of all modifications to the vehicle
· Part number
· Date of purchase
· The purchase price
· Your name and address
· Daytime phone number
Once you have submitted the above information to the Koyorad Authorized dealer and they have confirmed receipt of the above information, the Koyorad Authorized dealer will contact us and begin the claims process.
Exclusions
This limited warranty is not transferable to any third party, including but not limited to any subsequent purchaser or owner of the Product. This limited warranty does not cover, and is void with respect to: (i) improper installation, storage, repair, maintenance, modification, defects or failures due to misuse, neglect, negligence, abuse, accident, physical damage, improper handling or shipping, abnormal operation or operation contrary to furnished instructions or warnings, exposure to fire, water, excessive moisture or dampness, or any substance inside or outside the operating system, or extreme changes in climate or temperature; (ii) cosmetic damage; (iii) Products on which serial numbers have been removed, altered or rendered illegible; (iv) cost of installation, removal or reinstallation; or (v) damage resulting from fire, flood, or other acts of God or other acts which are not the fault of Koyo Cooling Systems, Inc.
