Koyorad is proud to announce an all-aluminum high-performance radiator for the 1st Generation (1995-2004) Toyota Tacoma V6 4x4 and PreRunner V6. Koyorad’s high density HyperCore measures 36mm thick, a 44% increase over the OEM unit which boosts the cooling system’s heat capacity and endurance under extreme use. Designed for serious off-road enthusiasts, the internal automatic transmission (AT) cooler has been purposefully omitted. This allows for 2 inches of additional approach angle with AT equipped trucks. An external transmission cooler (not included) will be necessary, which allows for physical and visual inspections of the cooler itself and can be upgraded to offer improved transmission performance in the field. Without an internal AT cooler, radiators have zero risk of catastrophic engine and drivetrain damage from coolant and transmission fluid breech. Advanced engineering and design, impeccable TIG welds, proficiency in furnace brazing, and triple pressure testing for quality has earned Koyorad the excellent reputation in performance cooling worldwide.

For AT equipped 95-04 Tacoma 4x4 V6 and PreRunner V6: Requires mandatory AT cooler (not included). Recommended purchase of lower radiator hose for 4x4 w/ MT (Toyota part # 16572-07030 or Gates # 21534) and fan shroud for 4x4 w/MT (Toyota part # 16711-07020), however trimming of the original fan shroud may be adequate. Use Koyorad SK-C13 or equivalent mini style cap, OEM Cap not compatible.
