Annual Suzuka Twin Circuit 8-6 Event!

Our Koyorad Japan Racing Service division was present on 8-6-09 at Suzuki Twin Circuit to cover the Annual 8-6 Drift Event.

“On the 6th of August, I was invited to join the track race for practice, called Hachi-roku race event, which is annually held on August 6 or 8-6.  The host of this event is Mr. Tetsuya Hibino, a Koyorad supporter and stopped by Suzuka twin circuit.

Unfortunately, it rained that day, but each of the participants from local areas and even the ones which travelled far from the west and east area of Japan kept smiling and enjoyed drifting by AE86 they are proud of.

Mr. Hibino joined the race by the AE86 called “Kamikaze-go”, which he used to drive for D1.   Mr. Ken Shinose and Ken Sato, who also used to be D1 official drivers joined the race as well.

At the same time they were having fun with their drifting, they were willing to give advise about car specification and driving technique every time they were asked.

There were some couples present who met each other in previous years that this event was held and registered their marriage on the this August 6th date.
